About 4 or 5 years ago, I was playing around with crypto as sort of a novelty. I think I had a Coinbase account, pretty much right away, but at that time, there were actually thriving markets in which you would find people looking to buy or trade crypto in exchange for cash or valuables. You would actually meet, face to face, to do blockchain transactions.
