I have noted, countless times, that when the subject of economics and/or government is brought up in detail by people who’ve no awareness, let alone comprehension of complex systems or systems-thinking, the ideas and conversation always tend to immediately become very muddied by attempts to virtuously assert ideology and sort of Dunning-Kruger the whole subject by presupposing these very subjective ideas of moral compass as being applicable or even fundamental to the emergence, function and evolution of natural systems such as the very common hierarchies as well as distributed systems of exchange such as the silk routes.

It’s just as common, then, for people to take misunderstood words into these levels of abstraction wherein meaningful, scientifically verifiable and observable bits of nature are sort of moved around algebraically to fit one’s fundamentally emotional, subjective narrative and/or misunderstood world view.
